Hello gunpla fans!!! Here I am with another quick fix to a small problem most RG owners encounter. Some RG kits have a problem holding its own weaponry due to some weight issue. In this case, RG Destiny and relatively other RG kits having the same inner frames as RG Destiny.
Specially with the RG Destiny, he usually can't hold the Arondight anti ship sword properly due the weight of the sword. Studying the problem, I found out that the problem occurs in the shoulder joint of the inner frame. With the large sword's weight, it can no longer support compared to the beam rifle and other small weapons.
So here's what we will do...

How to make RG base connectors fit any base
Hey guys, here I am again with another quick yet essential fix to a common problem we all might encounter.
Today will handle the RG connectors included in each RG kit. What's with it you ask? well, Bandai designed them, specially the early ones, to be use with Bandai's Action Base 2. The connectors were designed to fit the square peg of the base.
Bandai then figured out that this is kinda troublesome and starting RG 14 Strike Freedom, they redesigned the connector to have another hole that will fit the cylindrical peg most bases have.

How to add articulation to the waist using HGBC Balden Arm Arms
Hello! here I am again to add value to you gunpla life. :D
This entry is considered part of the restoration entries for old HG kits. The first two were the earlier two entries. A bit of info about this entry, we'll tackle more on the waist articulation. Yes, we did the shoulder-arm articulation, added leg articulation specifically to widen the leg stance. all we need to do is add articulation on the waist as well for a more dynamic, dramatic and lifelike poses.

How to widen the leg articulation
Hi guys! here's a short entry for you. This might be short but it might help you a lot.
This is quite simple really. I'll show you how to make the legs articulate wider than its standard design. I'm still referring to old HG kits that have limited leg articulation. I do understand that some of them can do a wide stance while standing, but the problem lies when you do an action pose where the legs are kept in an awkward position that's not worth taking pictures of.

How to use HGBC Balden Arm Arms to add articulation
Hey there!! here's another entry for you guys to try and do for you old HG kits. I came across this idea when Bandai announced the release of HGBC Balden arm arms. Looking at their prototype pictures, idea struck me and formulated on how to do this customization. All I needed to do is wait for its release and use it to upgrade my HG 105 Dagger.
One note for you guys, before doing this, I would like to point out that for every custom you do, DON'T be afraid to destroy or ruin your kit, because you'll make it better after. And if you're afraid that you can't make it better, well, that's why this blog was created. To help you guys throughout the modification.

How to shorten RG Zeta's beam rifle
It's time once again for another tip/tutorial for your Gunpla Kits.
This time around, we'll be tackling a simple modification for RG Zeta's beam rifle. A friend of mine asked about why my RG Zeta's beam rifle, when retracted, is shorter than it should be. I replied, I'll teach you how when I blog it. And that's what I'll show you in this entry.
A bit if background, before I got my RG Zeta, I first had a MG Zeta ver 2.0 and then an HGUC Zeta. And playing around with them made me realize that the retracted beam rifle of the RG should really be shorter compared to its OOTB(Out of the box) build.
Comparing scales and models, HGUC and MG kits stayed true to what it should be.
And now here's how we make RG Zeta's beam rifle true to as it should be.

Notice that the one on top is the modified beam rifle, and the lower one is the OOTB. OOTB beam rifle is a bit longer when retracted.

How to tighten front skirts that are split into two
Hey there!!! It's time for another tip from yours truly. :D
In this entry, we'll deal with mainly the front skirts of HG kits. For some of you know HG front skirts are molded as one part in the runners. But Bandai gives us option to cut it in the middle so when we do some poses of our kits, the skirts would follow the articulation perfectly.
We now concentrate on the front skirts that are cut into two and are loosely connected when built back into the crotch part of the kit.

How to recreate a missing or broken part
Hi again! Its been a long time since I last posted a tutorial. This time around, the dilemma broke out when we moved to a different place. Packing stuff and everything including Gunplas. Sad to say that when I was pack my HG 1/144 Aile Stiker pack, one ot its boosters fell and broke its fin. I looked for the broken piece but it was gone and was eaten by the "Floor monster."
So today's tutorial, involves on creating the broken fin with plastic plates.

How to give articulated shoulder to old HG kits
Hi there! its been a long time since I last posted a tutorial. I kinda have been busy lately though, but anyways here is the new stuff.
I have been building kits for a long time now and I see that the new ones are getting more and more serious in terms of articulation. I feel that Bandai is somehow translating RG articulation to its HG line.
And knowing all this, I felt kinda jealous for my HG 105 Dagger X since this kit was based on HG slaughter dagger. The base kit has limited articulation such that it only rotates at the shoulder.. that's it.
Now to start with the tutorial..
here's what you need..
Super Glue (I think you can use plastic cement, I'm just cool with glue)
ROUND needle file (for quick sanding purposes)
FLAT file (for quick sanding purposes)
Side Cutter (trusted nippers)
X-acto Blades (any blade would do)
PlaPlates (very essentials)

How to fix RG Zeta Gundam broken shoulder joint
Quick fix to make the shoulder joint stable and stronger for RG Zeta Gundam
Some say that RG Zeta is the most unstable or most flimsy RG kit ever. I beg to differ, because it is stable enough to stand and carry loads of accessories like other RG kits. Others also mention that this kit has a lot of "issues" with its Advanced Joint Frame. In this post, we will deal with one of the most common issue of the RG Zeta gundam kit, which is its SHOULDER JOINT.
Usually, the shoulder joint is exposed to a lot of stress due to the kit's transformation gimmick. And for enthusiasts like us, especially to those who are having a hard time understanding the transformation sequence, IF DONE wrong, the shoulder joint would probably snap in two and will leave your kit messed up. Technically, the shoulder joint is the only thing keeping the arms connected to the main body.
When this happen to your kit, these are the step-by-step guide you may follow in order to fix the shoulder joint.
Disclaimer though, Do expect that the kit may not be 100% working as of before, and end up around 90% or 95% workable after the fix. I usually say, "50% or higher, of something is better than nothing." Its like, for me, its better to be working at 90/95% rather than seeing the kit as scrap.
So here's how we can fix the problem.
Tools:
Super Glue (mighty bond)
Paper Clip (depends on your preference on which size to use, but preferably a small one)
Needle File (flat)
Pin Vise (size: same size with your paper clip)
Side Cutter or Pliers (to cut the paper clip)
